Symbols of wealth, status and power, horses were popular subjects during the Tang Dynasty, China’s golden age of art. Inspired by the ceramic sculpture of that time, our lamp sets a brass horse — tail bound and mane trimmed in typical Tang style — on a clear acrylic base.
